OUR PROGRAMS

Ka Ma'o will pull from the knowledge accumulated from their collective years of direct, first hand industry experiences to provide assistance, effective solutions, and up-close access to assist the next generation of music professionals to navigate their development process.

LOLENA PROGRAM

The Lolena Music Program aims to preserve and perpetuate ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi by providing professional recording opportunities at Ka Maʻo studios for artists across all genres, at no cost to awardees.

Named after ʻōlelo Hawai’i advocate Lolena Nicholas, the inaugural program will support singers and songwriters using ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi or seeking to preserve songs written in the language - for FREE.

By fostering collaboration and innovation, the Lolena Music Program provides a dynamic space for creativity while promoting cultural heritage for the entire community.
